ABOUT ME
Who am I?
My name is Eric Mistry. I was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa and went to Grinnell College for my Bachelor's degree (History/Technology Studies major). In 2017, I completed my Master's degree from The George Washington University in DC in Educational Technology Leadership. In August 2018, I will complete my MBA from the College of St. Scholastica. I currently live and work in Duluth, Minnesota for the College of St. Scholastica.
Working in the field of Educational Technology, I often have to walk a fine line when working with pedagogy and technology. I believe that technology should be used when it augments education, not simply for its own sake.
On a personal level, I'm a relatively creative soul and particularly enjoy photography, graphic design, cooking, and writing. I'm also a retired swimmer who can't stay away from the pool. Other than that, I'm a tinkerer and often have more than a few creations underway at any given time.
